Two things to offer:
Uno: Every time we look at a rainbow it's a reminder of God's promise not to completely destroy all the flesh on this corrupted Earth. No matter how terrible mankind gets he will never abandon us. AMAZING. Genesis 9:14 "When the bow is in the clouds I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth."
Dos: The passage about Noah's nakedness is confusing. I think he curses Canaan instead of Ham because he feels that will hurt Ham more maybe. Honestly I'm not really sure, and as for Noah being angry with Ham more than being angry with himself I think this is anger towards Ham's judgment and lack of respect. Mainly though I think it's anger towards Ham being judgmental.

I just wanted to comment on the birth of Seth. It says, " And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and called his name Seth..." Genesis 4:25. Interesting, how he words that, "Adam knew his wife again.." This says that sex (or in this case more specifically the creation of a child) is a very intimate thing. As if every time you do this with someone you know each other again.

I wonder if God meant the literal day too. I was thinking about that while I was reading how long Noah lived and his sons. I wonder if the way they measured a year is the same way we do today.

I can't believe I didn't notice that it said Adam was with Eve. I just read that exact verse last night, worded the very same way. It kind of makes sense even more now presented in a whole new light. It did tend to seem almost like Adam was a victim in the situation (not quite victim but you get my point) and obviously that wasn't the case.
